The Dunvegan- Fire Restaurant
Experience a taste of Skye and the Highlands at its most elemental, as Chefs Tim & Ruairidh prepare you dishes based on years of training & adapting their senses and instincts to respond to fire – and how different ingredients react to it.
For dinner, there is a ‘Fire Dining Experience’ which is a multi-course Tasting Menu (£85) of their own-grown, local & sustainable seafood, meat, fish & vegetables – all cooked over fire.
The menu includes
own grown salads, herbs, vegetables & edible flowers from the owner’s croft
from the Isle of Skye: Lobster, langoustine, crab, shrimp, mussels & hand-dived scallops
from the Highlands: oysters, grass-fed meats & wild venison
In season Scottish and British fruit & vegetables
The menu changes as new ingredients are harvested from the garden or brought in by fishermen and local suppliers.
The food is inspired by family-influenced Argentine Asado and fire cooking techniques & cultures from around the world, but the heart of the food is in The Highlands.
Coffee, cakes and snacks are also available during the day.
